Acceptance
By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our privacy practices. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Service description
ClaimStation is a web application for tracking and managing reimbursement claims. The service helps you record expenses, link bank transactions, manage claim status, and optionally use AI-assisted matching. The service is provided on an "as is" basis.
Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information when registering and using the service
- Keep your account credentials secure
- Use the service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws
- Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or other users' data
- Not use the service to transmit malicious code or interfere with its operation
Account and data
- Your data is stored securely and governed by our data retention settings (see Data retention)
- You can export your data and delete your account
- We do not sell your personal data
Optional AI features
If you enable AI-assisted matching, anonymised data may be sent to third-party AI providers (e.g. OpenAI) for analysis. AI features are optional and can be disabled at any time. See AI-assisted matching for details.
Limitation of liability
ClaimStation is a personal record-keeping tool. It does not constitute legal, tax, or financial advice. We are not responsible for reimbursement outcomes, deadlines, or decisions made by insurers, employers, or other reimbursing entities. Use the service at your own risk.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes (e.g. by email or an in-app notice). Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
